review in short: its a great case (but i had to modify it)
I have the iphone 4 and i always had an incase case that protected the sides & entire back of the phone. I recently heard on a podcast that if you break the glass back of your iphone that its only $29 to have fixed (not really sure if thats true). Now with this info i decided that i wanted a case that still protects the sides but displays the glass back.
I bought the iphone 4 bumper case from apple and its great but... it seems the hole for the earbuds is a small one. Its the exact size for you to plug in the apple earbuds but almost all others have a fatter plug. Take a look at the apple earbuds that came with your phone, geeze thats a thin plug!
I plug into 2 different radios on a daily basis & neither of their auxiliary wires fit. So what i did for a few weeks was take the bumper off when plugging into these radios. booooo!
What i did was make the hole larger. I used a drill and reamed it bigger (works perfect). Now what i wish i would have tried was a hole punch... sounds strange but the part of the case that needed to be modified is soft flexible rubber.
If you try the hole puncher it would be great if you could post a comment with the results :)
the rest..... buttons work great - easy to put on & take off - fits perfect - well designed!
